Posts (page 2)
The last few days I have been thinking of my next few posts. I normally don't plan things out. When I write, I just like to let it flow.
Since last week, titles have been coming to me, albeit at least one started as a joke. I am thinking of "Hunting Her Love" & "A Skeptic's Dream" as titles. Brit might remember the joke about "Hunting Her Love." LOL at KC for help with that title. I am on safari now.
So far "Untitled" will be about the lessons learned during my recent unemployment.
I have so much on my mind right now and I am not sure how to get it all out. Thinking about the stupidity last week, how run down I have been lately, mentally and physically.
I am not OK. I thought I would be. I am well on my way though.
If you haven't already, check out my blog I Don't Know!.
I have made a new post to IDK. It's an update on my present job situation entitled Finally, Some Good News.
Enjoy!
I have made two new posts to IDK.
The first of which was a continuation to my post on June 12 about my son's first bank account leading into a discussion I had with his mother after I dropped him off.
The second was a post about how we spent Father's Day and the talk we had briefly about girls and sex.
Enjoy!
What did you learn in kindergarten that you wish you did a better job of applying to the way you live your life today?
I learned to communicate with people and make friends. These days I find that I am more introverted and more of a loner. When I do make friends I don't keep in touch. Well, neither do they but I don't make an effort if I don't see any on their part.
Perhaps this is something that can change in the future. It can't hurt to make an attempt or two to keep in touch with someone who could be a positive part of your life.
Recently, I heard a bit of chatter on Twitter about a new micro-blogging platform called Plurk. Plurk, a lot like Twitter with a timeline and sort of an incentive structure, has been the business for the last week or so. I referred to it last night as the "true open social" because, unlike Twitter, everyone seems to get in on the conversation. Speaking of conversations, each update of 140 characters has the potential of becoming just that, a conversation, a full blown meeting where all are invited. What's happening here is that people who might have been sandboxed behind their private Twitter profiles are making contact on a level that just doesn't seem possible on Twitter.
It has a share feature which is out of control. People are sharing their otherwise private or dead accounts because they have found an existing, avid audience to engage. Which brings me to my neglected accounts. Follow me aday and expand my neighborhood dramatizations at vox. I haven't used either in quite a while but I guess this post to the aforementioned accounts (simultaneously) is the start of a whole lot more fun.
What are your resolutions for 2007?
My resolutions are to pick up where I left off in '06. In addition, I intend to love hard, give my all to the right people, stay on my path and continue to beat the odds.
What are the things in life that you're truly passionate about?
Submitted by Jess.
My Son, my family and love.
What are you thankful for?
I am thankful for my son, who is the top kid at his school. I am thankful for the people who have come into my life this year and the ones who stayed. I am thankful for the people who love me and the people who hate me. I am thankful I am me and have been as strong as I am.
